Things are not accidents and buildings are most definitely things. When you look at a building, strange as it may seem you are looking an idea. This idea was originally in the mind of the architect / designer. To explain his idea the architect used drawings to explain the idea. Thus the blueprints and artist renderings are truly a method of communication.
Photoshop is many things, but a drafting platform is not one of them. That is not to say Photoshop is not useful to an architect, but AutoCAD and similar programs are where the heavy work is done.
In these examples, I was taking a photo and turning them into artist rendering type images. This process is sort of backwards to the normal process, but still fun to do. It was even easy to do a reverse version.
